Single. Simple.
Before I never really gave it much thought, but lately I’ve been slowly wrapping my mind around the idea that I’m destined to be single all my life. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, really. But unlike before when I was still open to the idea of hooking up, now I think I’ll just refuse anything and anyone that comes my way. It’s simpler that way.
Nope, I’m not afraid of commitment. I’m a committed bachelor, that’s all.

Well, basta hindi ka lang nagsasalita ng patapos---I pretty much accepted the mantle of spinsterhood until Doug, my first boyfriend since 1993, blindsided me :-)
I fervently hope things work out between us, but that mantle may just be on hold till a later date.
Revel in singlehood, hanee---but I hope you discern a good time to leave it if the opportunity presents itself!

TZEL: Even if the opportunity presents itself, I think I'll just pass. Even if Mr. Opportunity throws himself at my feet and beg me to take him in, I'd politely smile and just tell him, "You should get up. You look silly down there."
